Day 5 · Ignite: someone else uses it, then decide

Runs withDay 5, after the 30-minute briefing: Part A in the morning (about 105 minutes, ending with one real person using your product), Part B in the afternoon (about 120 minutes, ending with demos), then the 15-minute gate
FormatPrompt-based: every step is a prompt you give Claude, followed by a check you do yourself. Every prompt today runs in Claude Code, in your repository
You needYour repository from Day 4, with the slice running and its tests passing; one real person who is not on the course, booked for 20 minutes late in the morning; for a preview URL, an account with a host you have chosen; for a local demo, a way for that person to use your laptop (in person, or a screen share with remote control)
You leave withA preview URL or a local demo someone else has used unaided, costs per user and break-even on a page, a decision memo in product/05-decision.md, and a five-minute demo, given
GateThe Day 5 gate (Part C), closing Ignite and the week

Where you are

You have one slice that runs, with tests, access checks and a dependency scan. Today answers: can someone else use it, what would it cost, and what next? Someone other than you tries to reach the first value moment without help. You then work out what running it would cost, decide honestly between persevere, iterate, pivot or stop, and show the whole route in five minutes.

Your build objective ends: "on Day 5, one real person reaches it without help." Today is the day you find out. If they don't, that is evidence, not failure: write down what happened.
