Assemble I: specify and brief Claude

SESSION 01 · TUESDAY

From decisions to a build-ready backlog

Turn three weeks of decisions into a story map, testable stories and a Sprint 1 backlog anyone could build from, Claude included.

You will be able to
  • Build a story map with a backbone, a walking skeleton and release slices
  • Write user stories with Given/When/Then acceptance criteria a tester could check
  • Slice work vertically and prioritise it with Kano, evidence and risk
  • Explain the Scrum accountabilities, events, artefacts and commitments
  • Agree a Definition of Done for an AI-assisted build and plan Sprint 1

OUTPUT · Story map + Sprint 1 backlog + Definition of Done in product/04-backlog.md

SESSION 02 · THURSDAY

Briefing Claude, your engineering partner

Tonight your Product Book moves into a repository, Claude Code reads it through CLAUDE.md, and you approve your first plan.

You will be able to
  • Explain what Claude needs from you and how Claude.ai and Claude Code differ
  • Rewrite a list of prohibitions as a working agreement with reasons
  • Set up a repository and Claude Code, and run /init
  • Write a CLAUDE.md that imports your Product Book and states how you work
  • Plan your walking skeleton in plan mode, then approve it or ask for changes

OUTPUT · Repository + CLAUDE.md + approved walking-skeleton plan
