Validate at scale: the business model and the AI bet

SESSION 01 · TUESDAY

Business model and pricing

Loop 1 showed people use your product. Tonight you test what they will pay, and whether each customer earns back what they cost.

You will be able to
  • Sketch your business model on a page: customer, value, channel, revenue, costs
  • Choose a pricing approach: value-based, cost-plus or competitor-referenced
  • Design a willingness-to-pay test with a threshold written before any result
  • Calculate acquisition cost, payback, churn and lifetime value, measured and assumed apart
  • Decide between a free trial, freemium and a paid pilot, and say why

OUTPUT · Business model, pricing test card, unit economics: product/08-business-model.md

SESSION 02 · THURSDAY

Shaping the AI feature bet

Turn last week’s AI Opportunity Card into a bet you can measure: a feature card, 20 test cases and a cost per user.

You will be able to
  • Write an AI Feature Card: job, input, output, quality bar and fallback
  • Turn “good” into six success criteria, each one something you can count or grade
  • Write 20 eval cases with expected behaviour and a pass threshold, before any code
  • Estimate cost per call and per user per month from tokens in and tokens out
  • List five risks (wrong, unsafe, private, expensive, slow), each with a mitigation

OUTPUT · AI Feature Card + eval set v1 + cost estimate in product/08-ai-feature.md
